ABOUT OUR SERVICES

We serve everyone of reproductive age regardless of their ability to pay.

We provide healthcare including pap smears, pregnancy testing, pelvic and breast exams, testicular exams, HIV testing, STI testing, HPV vaccine, emergency contraception and birth control at low-cost or no cost. We also assist HIV+ individuals obtain needed community services.

Our educators provide services both in and out of the health center. In the health center, educators provide patient education and orientation. Outside our offices, we can provide presentations on a range of reproductive health topics. We can provide programming in schools, community centers, social service agencies, and correctional facilities.

Family Planning Services of Lorain County (FPS) is a non-profit, reproductive healthcare organization with medical offices in Elyria, Ohio. We have been providing care to Lorain County residents since 1969. We provide confidential, high quality and low-cost reproductive health care to men and women.
Our services are very affordable. We accept most medical insurance and have a sliding fee scale for those who do not have insurance. Also, we have an insurance enroller on site to help you obtain health insurance. No one is turned away due to inability to pay. Each year we care for thousands of individuals just like you.
